Cruelty Free Beauty Box- Build your own box!

I don't want this blog to be all about box reviews, but when you have so many amazing ones to write about, i have to get them out there!

The Cruelty Free Beauty Box is a subscription box with a twist. You can subscribe to their regular subscription boxes and receive monthly surprise treats, or you can select the option to 'build your own box', which they have only recently introduced. It costs £19.99 and you get 6 items in your box, you can mix and match from an amazing selection and, as the name suggests, all the brands are cruelty free!

So, here is what i chose for my second build your own box (i got my first one when they launched and loved it so much that i vowed to get more):

The first item i chose was the Pink Clay Face Sponge from the Konjac Sponge Company. I have been intrugued by Konjac sponges since i first heard about them. They are made from 100% vegetable fibre and have the texture of polystyrene when dry. Only when submerged in water do they become a soft sponge, containing nourishing minerals to help your skin glow! I am so happy to have one now, as i am addicted to facial skincare and i know this will be an amazing addition to my regime.

The second item i chose was the Little Miracle Rosehip Serum by Balm Balm. They are a brand i had heard of, and heard a lot about but had never had the chance to try out. I love their cute packaging and so i couldn't resist adding this to my box when i saw it. It helps to feed your skin, helping it to breathe and feel rejuvenated. The product was not full size, but contained enough to get a good few uses out of it to really test it out.

The third item i chose was another one by Balm Balm, the Hibiscus Face Mask. Face masks are an addiction of mine (seriously, i have loads!) so this was a no brainer for me! This mask is great for deeply cleansing and exfoliating the skin, drawing impurities out of the skin as it dries. This, again, was not full size, but a decent sample size to get a feel for the product.

The fourth item i chose was a Spacemask. I have heard so much about these and have yet to try them, so imagine my excitement when i saw these were an option! I clicked it straight away, no hesitation! It is an eye mask that heats up and is said to send you into 'interstellar relaxation!' I am so excited to try this!

The fifth and penultimate item i chose was Black Clay and Sandalwood Detox Salt Scrub by The Salt Parlour. This is said to tighten pores whilst uplifting your mood and de-stressing you. The mini tin was so cute and even came with a little wooden scoop to help you get the right amount of product!

The sixth and final item was Balancing Face Mask by PHB Ethical Beauty. It contains a blend of tea tree and petitgrain, which help to improve your complexion and regulate the production of sebum. This is a full size item, and will last forever as it is such a good size!

They also sent a little pack 0f Parma Violet sweets, which was a really nice touch and sets the box apart from others, as it feels more personal.

Overall, i cannot fault this box. You have the option of a monthly subscription where you get surprises every month, or the choice of a one off, build your own box for those who prefer to know what they are getting (no recurring monthly charges with the build your own option!)

If you are looking to make more ethical and natural choices in your everyday beauty and skincare routine, you cannot go wrong with the Cruelty Free Beauty Box!
