Can you believe it’s that time of the month again? Yes, it’s Natural Beauty Box time and I am always so excited to get this box! With my work over at Boxession, I get sent a lot of boxes to review and while I haven’t had a box yet that I have disliked, there are only a couple that I happily pay for every month and this box is one of them! The sheer variety, perfectly fitting themes and the chance to discover and try new brands and products every month makes it more than worth the money in my eyes!
This month is all about Winter Skin Saviours, as we leave autumn behind and head into the colder months. This tends to be a time where our skin can suffer and require extra help to stay healthy, so I was massively looking forward to getting my hands on this! It arrived, prompt as always, and I excitedly tore open the box to find the treats that lay beneath. And what treats they were too!
This box has a total value of £56, so almost double what you pay for it!
The first item is Gentle Smoothing Polish by Niskama Skincare (RRP £7). I adore any kind of face scrub, as I always like to use them to give my skin an extra pamper a couple of times a week, and this comes in super cute packaging! It helps to gently buff away dead skin cells and unclog pores, and as it is gentle, you can even use it with sensitive skin. You only need a pea sized amount combined with water, so it will last for ages!
The second item is Illume Moisture Serum by Guiltless Skin (RRP £26- more than the price of the box!). You only need a few drops of this to add some much needed hydration. I love serums, so I tried this the same night I received the box and I was so impressed by its lightweight and non-sticky feel, and the ingredients includes Hyaluronic Acid, to help plump the skin and improve skin tone and luminosity, as well as preventing moisture loss.
The third item is Face Oil + by I Love Skin (RRP £19.20). Oils are another one of my favourite skincare items, and I am always happy to try another one! This is rich in antioxidants, nutrients and essential fatty acids to help soften your skin, improve elasticity and skin tone, protect against water loss, stimulate collagen production and smooth fine lines! That is a lot of amazing benefits from one product!
The fourth item is Mini Bath Salts by Felicity MacDonald (RRP £8). These are travel size and contain a number of beautiful ingredients including Rose Otto, Juniper Berry, Cornflower, Lavender and Himalayan Salts to purify, calm and detoxify, whilst also being anti-inflammatory. They help to warm the body, cleanse the mind and restore calm. I don’t have a bath at my flat, so I will be heading to my mums to make use of these!
The fifth item (or items!) is Mini Duo by Okko Skincare (RRO £3 each). I have used a balm by this brand before and I loved it, so I am excited to get more! This duo consists of the foot balm, with eucalyptus and calendula (one of my all time favourite ingredients!) and the body balm with borage and rosehip to give your whole body some much needed TLC and improve the moisture and elasticity of the skin.
Sol, all in all, another fantastic edit this month, I don’t think Emma is capable of making a bad box! I love it so much, I have ordered one of their special Black Friday lucky dip boxes for an amazing £10. I am clearly not the only one to notice the staggering bargain to be had here, as they sold out extremely quickly and the regular subscription box always sells out every month too! I am hardly surprised, as I adore each and every product I have ever received in this box, and have gone on to repurchase many of them since!
