The Natural Beauty Box March 2019- Mother Nature Edit

Once again, my favourite time of the month has come around- Natural Beauty Box time! I know I say this a lot, but I am always truly astounded by how they manage to absolutely nail it every single month, from the theme to the products. I have made some incredible discoveries thanks to this box, going on to repurchase many of the items featured, and there has never been a box I haven’t truly loved in the whole 12 months I have been a subscriber. You see, I am a blogger over at Boxession (check us out!), and so get sent many a box to review. It is wonderful, and I very much enjoy it- I have received some truly beautiful items and I am very fortunate! But this box is the only one I now pay for, and am happy to do so! No other box seems to come close to this for me, and I will continue to subscribe for as long as they continue to curate boxes- which I hope is a very long time to come!

With that being said, let’s get to the items in this month’s edit! The theme for March is Mother Nature- very fitting for a natural box, and every item is designed to nourish from head to toe!

And what were these items, I hear you cry? Well:

Item number 1 was Mother Earth Body Butter by The Soul Kitchen Skincare (RRP £9.95). This comes in the most eye catching packaging, which is so spring like and uplifting to look at! There isn’t much of a smell to it, but this is a multitasking product for all over use! It is hand whipped, vegan, 100% natural and free from essential oils (which can irritate sensitive skin). Amazingly, this product contains only 5 ingredients- Shea Nut Butter, Mango Butter, Avocado Oil, Coconut Oil and Castor Oil. These ingredients have all been specially selected for their skin loving propertied, such as Vitamins A, B1, B2, B6, C and E, as well as anti-bacterial, anti-viral and antiseptic properties! It melts into the skin and is a perfect natural barrier to prevent moisture loss to deeply nourish the skin. All this, and the packaging is recyclable!

Item number 2 is something I have been wanting to try for ages- Lash Oil by Bowe Organics (RRP £19.99). I have used a lash oil before and really liked the results, so I have been dying to get my hands on a natural version! This helps to hydrate and soften the lashes and brows, helping them to grow and look fuller. It contains Organic Castor Oil, known for its regrowth promoting properties, as well as Rosehip Oil, Jojoba and Vitamin E, which all help to strengthen and protect the delicate hairs of the lashes and brows. Results are said to be expected within 3-6 months. I cannot wait to start using this- the brand have won awards for their products and this is one hype train I am happy to get on board with!

Item number 3 is a brand I have used before (and love!)- Lavender Hero Gel by PHB Ethical Beauty (RRP £18). This is a HUGE tube of multitasking goodness for skin and hair! Suitable for all skin and hair types, as well as safe for use during pregnancy, this contains Organic Aloe Vera, Arnica and Neem extract and of course, Lavender! This combination is no accident- they are designed to soothe and repair the skin and hair and this gel is lightweight, easily absorbed, cooling and moisturising. It’s uses include: Cooling and Soothing skin, Improve Skin Hydration, Eczema, Psoriasis or other skin irritations, Acne and Scarring, Bruises, Insect Bites, Inflammation, Nappy Rash, Razor Burn, Oil Free Moisturisation, Makeup Primer, Soothing Itchy Scalp, Light Hold Hair Styling, Natural Curl Definer, Leave in Conditioner, Seal Split ends and Add softness and body to hair. Wow- that’s a lot for one product! You could probably throw out half of your cabinet and just use this! It smells delightful too!

Item number 4 is Herbs and Trees Balancing Facial Serum by Terre Verdi (RRP £31- more than the price of the subscription!). I have heard of this brand and have been dying to try them, so I am very glad to be given the opportunity this month! This serum is certified organic and has many benefits for the skin to keep it fresh and looking healthy. It is fast absorbing and can be used morning or evening before after cleansing. It contains:

Argan Oil to moisturise and soften.

White Tea Seed Oil, which is not only an anti-inflammatory, but also is a fantastic natural emollient.

Sunflower Seed Oil, which is high in Vitamin E and nutrients to combat irritation, redness and acne.

Jojoba Oil to soothe, moisturise and regulate the production of sebum.

Calendula extract to soothe.

Essential Oils of Tea Tree, Geranium, Patchouli and Frankincense, which are anti-inflammatory, antiseptic and astringent, with floral and herby aromas to relax and de-stress the mind.

So much goodness in one bottle!

Item number 5, and the last one from this box, is Maroc Soir Argan Body Oil by Douvalls (RRP £14). This has such a beautiful and sensual scent to it, as well as being a multitasker (a theme for this box!). You can use this as a body oil, bath oil or even a few drops onto the hair to add shine. It is made with skins holy grail- Argan Oil and infused with a blend of essential oils for a truly uplifting and relaxing experience for the mind and body. As many of us know, Argan oil is so good for the skin and hair, providing Moisturisation and hydration through it’s Vitamin E and Omega fatty acids. The essential oils included are: Geranium, Orange, Ylang Ylang, Palmarosa, Patchouli and Lavender, which is a sweet but earthy blend to enhance the mood, relieve stress and help you to relax. It is also worth mentioning that this brand is run by a mother and daughter duo and they work closely with a breast cancer charity called The Haven, which helps women to lead a natural and holistic lifestyle.

So that is everything in the box this month, and the total value is a staggering £92.91! When you consider that the price of this subscription is just £24.95 per month, the value for money is outstanding!

I adore this box, I look forward to it every month and always wait (impatiently, I may add!) for any sneak peeks or spoilers on their social media. One thing I am always sure of though, is that I will receive a box of amazing, high quality natural products, perfectly in keeping with the theme of the box and the time of year, and that I will no doubt fall in love with yet more natural brands!
