The Natural Beauty Box April 2019- Skintritious Edit.
This month’s edition of the Natural Beauty Box is all about nourishing the skin. Not only that, but every product is plastic free! If you don’t know by now, this box is my absolute favourite and every month they completely blow me away with the quality and value for money.
This box contains 5 items bursting with vitamins, minerals and beneficial nutrients for the skin.
So, what cruelty free, natural and plastic free goodies were in this month’s edit?
The first was Love Absolute Deep Ocean Facial Mud Bar (RRP £15). This contains mineral rich sea clay and is a gentle and non-drying cleansing bar that won’t strip away the skin’s natural oils. It also contains English Blackcurrant Seed Oil, Organic Glycerine and Aquamarine sea clay. These ingredients make it nourishing, hydrating, soothing, effective at cleansing and helping to replace natural oils in the skin. There is an addition of Blue Chamomile to soothe redness, Bisabolol to calm thanks to its anti-inflammatory properties and Helycrysum essential oil, which is antibacterial. I adore the addition of wildflowers on the top- this item is unlike anything I have ever seen before! It comes in a reusable metal tin and smells amazing. I cannot wait to use this once my current cleansing bar runs out!
The second item was also from Love Absolute and was the Faux Lemon and Vitamin C Serum (RRP £19). This has nutrient rich, UK grown ingredients such as superfood Corn Cromwell known for its high levels of fatty acids to improve firmness, reduce redness, improve hydration, brighten skin tone, protect against pollution, soften, smooth and plump the skin. The ingredients of Blackcurrant seed oil, White Poppy Seed, Camelina and Starflower complete the all natural line up and with added vitamin c, this really is a wonder serum!
The third item was Maison Meunier Purifying Face Mask (RRP £12.50), which contains green tea, neroli and rose, as well as mineral rich dead sea mud to draw out dirt and toxins from the pores. It also contains extracts of damask rosewater, apple, watermelon and cucumber to help your skin look radiant, moisturised, refined and smooth! I love face masks and this is a brand I have never tried- it smells beautiful though!
The fourth item is Buff Body Care Kid Hand and Body Butter (RRP £7.99), which has a rich and fast absorbing formula. This smells incredible! It contains a mixture of essential oils including Lavender, Mandarin and Flower of Heliotrope, it actually smells chocolatey and leaves you relaxed and smelling amazing. The inclusion of shea butter, cocoa butter, coconut oil and safflower oil mean that it melts on contact with the skin to provide instant nourishment. A little goes a long way with this too, meaning it will last a while. I have tried items from Buff before and loved them, so I am not surprised that I love this too!
The fifth and final item was another brand I am familiar with- Niskama Skincare’s Nutrient Boost Daily Moisturiser (RRP £12) which contains superfood Sea Buckthorn, rich in vitamins A, B1, B2, C, D, E, K and P, as well as carotenoids, flavonoids, amino acids, phenols, folic acid, 20 mineral elements and all 4 omegas! That is some superfood! This moisturiser is light, fast absorbing, none greasy and deliciously scented, providing benefits such as hydration, improved elasticity, cell regeneration, prevention and treatment of acne, reduced inflammation and redness from skin irritations and conditions such as rosacea and eczema and preventing premature aging. It also contains green tea, evening primrose oil and olive squalene to rejuvenate, brighten tired skin, heal blemishes and scars, reduce eye puffiness, reduce appearance of pores and give you a healthy, glowing complexion! What a product! I have a facial scrub by this brand and I adore it- using these together should give me next level clear skin!
Once again, I am beyond impressed with this month’s offering- they always managed to get it absolutely spot on! I will always be a subscriber to this, it never lets me down!
