Can you believe it is that time of the month already? I cannot believe how fast this year is going! But yes, it is Natural Beauty Box time, which as you will all know by now, is my favourite subscription box out there!
The theme this month was perfect for the time of year, as always, as it was ‘Fresh and Fruity’. I adore fruit and fruity smelling products, so I was super excited for this box!
Inside were 5 fabulously fruity items perfect for the month of May!
The first product was from a brand called Kathleen Natural and was Citrus Cheer Bath/Shower Gel (RRP £18). I have heard of this brand but have never tried them before. This is 100% natural with no harsh foaming agents. It smells so beautiful and is great to use in the morning, as the scent really awakens the senses and revives you after sleep! It contains pure lemon, rosewood and geranium essential oils and it will not dry out the skin. Lemon detoxes the body, uplifts the mood and has antiseptic properties. Rosewood has antidepressant properties and promotes rejuvenated skin. Geranium promote radiant skin, reduces inflammation and reduces anxiety!
The second item is from Kathy Sue Ann’s and is the Super Nourishing Organic Body Scrub (RRP £14.95). Another brand I have heard of but never tried! This helps to buff away dead skin cells and natural oils from coconut, sweet almond, rapeseed and avocado nourish the skin to make it soft, smooth and glowing. It also contains dead sea salt and vitamin E, which makes for a fresh, simple and highly effective formula! I absolutely love body scrubs and cannot wait to try this one once I have finished my current one.
The third item is from a brand I have not heard of- Aromantic Natural Skincare and it was their Organic Orange Blossom Hydrolate (RRP £6.50). It came exclusively in a spray pump bottle especially for this box! You can use it as a gentle toner, or as a facial spritz throughout the day. It has astringent properties and a calming aroma- perfect for your handbag! It is 100% natural and produced as a by-product of essential oil distillation! There was an exclusive discount code for this company in the box and I will definitely be using it!
The fourth item is a brand I am familiar with, and love, Benecos Sea Buckthorn and Orange Hand and Nail Cream (RRP £3.45). This has a very uplifting scent and 7 plant oils to smooth, hydrate and moisturise. Sea Buckthorn oil is packed full of anti-oxidants to strengthen, soothe and regenerate skin. This formula feels light and absorbs into the skin very quickly, so no greasy hands!
The fifth and final item is another new brand for me- Ben and Anna’s Persian Lime Deodorant (RRP £9.95). This is a solid stick deodorant free from plastic packaging. It glides on so smoothly and doesn’t feel greasy or sticky afterwards. It also has a zesty and uplifting scent. It contains Shea Butter and Bicarbonate to help moisturise and prevent odour, as well as arrow root powder to absorb sweat and keep you dry.
Once again, this box has absolutely blown me away and the total value of the box, £52.85, is almost double what you pay for the subscription! Every month, I get to try a selection of incredible products that are all natural, cruelty free and good for me. What could be better than that?
