Yes, it’s that time of the month yet again where my favourite box makes an appearance. I had to wait an extra day for it this month as I was red carded by my postie and had to collect it the next day. I hate missing post, but this was well worth the wait to pick it up!
This month’s theme was ‘Holding On To Summer’ and was in keeping with Organic September too, as all products included this month were certified organic by the Soil Association.
And what were those products? Well, let me tell you!
The first is from a brand I know and love- Terre Verdi AquaDiRosa Balancing Mist (RRP £17). This is a delicate rosewater mist that removes residual makeup and dirt after cleansing, and also helps to rebalance the skin’s pH levels. You can also spritz this on throughout the day for a refreshing skin pick me up! I love facial mists, I have a few of them in my collection, and Rosewater is easily my favourite kind so I am sure I will love this. I also love the sleek black packaging, it looks so luxurious and way more expensive than its price tag!
The second item is from a brand I have not yet had the pleasure of trying- Botanicals Rosa Renew Anti-Ageing Serum (RRP £14). This is a concentrated serum that helps to promote a smoother, more youthful complexion and improve elasticity and hydration. Serums are my absolute favourite skincare item, aside from masks, so I am absolutely thrilled to have another one to try! I also love to discover new brands and products I have never tried before too.
The third item was another new brand for me- Lucy Bee Vanilla Lip Scrub (RRP £5). This is a gentle exfoliator to buff and nourish the lips with a beautiful aroma. Vanilla is one of my favourite scents and flavours, and I am a huge fan of lip scrubs, particularly as we approach winter, the season of chapped lips! I am sure I will adore this!
The fourth item is another brand I have tried (and loved!) before- Odylique Lemon Butter Hand Smoothie (RRP £12). This has the scent of sunshine and summer in a tube, combining Lemon, Lemongrass and Vanilla to leave your hands super soft and pampered. I have so many hand creams, but this sounds so beautiful that it has just shot straight to the top of the list of ones to try next!
The fifth and final item was another new brand discovery! Casa Mencarelli Green Clay and Lemon Mask (RRP £8). This has the most beautiful packing, which encapsulates the colours and aromas of the Sicilian landscape, and the mask itself removes dead skin cells and cleanses away impurities, all the while being gentle on the skin! As mentioned above, masks and serums are my 2 favourite skincare items, so to receive both in one box was like, (dare I say it?) Christmas!
I genuinely think this is one of the best edits yet. Those of you who read this review every month will know I don’t take that lightly, as this box truly is my absolute favourite and I have never had an item I have not used/will not use. This is super rare in the world of subscription boxes, as there are usually one or two items that you can’t/won’t use. Not this one though! The total RRP for this month is £56, so you are making a saving of £31.05 by purchasing! You cannot go wrong at all here!
