The Natural Beauty Box April 2023- The Magical and Fruity Edit.

Yes, it's that time again! Every time The Natural Beauty Box lands on my doorstep, it feels like Christmas! For those of you who are unfamiliar (where have you been?!), the Natural Beauty Box are a monthly subscription service featuring only natural, cruelty free products that are often also vegan and organic. I have been getting this box for 5 years now and in that time, I have not once been disappointed.

As is the standard now, I unboxed this on my YouTube channel, which you can catch here:

The theme for April was 'Magical and Fruity'. I had only seen one spoiler and was very excited to get my hands on this box- as always! This edit is also plastic free!

The first item was a new brand to me- Wake Berry Skin Natural Face Serum and Moisturiser (RRP £18.00). This is a lightweight serum with fast absorbing, nourishing oils (50% repurposed berry seed oils). It is an antioxidant powerhouse giving a youthful glow and effectively hydrates the skin.

I do love a multitasking product and so this serum and moisturiser is right up my street, I haven't yet tried this, as I am using up the last of my current serum, but this is next on the list as it sounds amazing. Lightweight products are perfect for the spring/summer months too!

Next up, another new brand for me- Earth to Earth Organics Magic Body Butter (RRP £11.99). A luxurious body butter to nourish and hydrate the skin, leaving it silky smooth. Infused with shea butter, coconut oil and vitamin e, it's perfect for keeping your skin healthy and moisturised all day long. Plus, it's light scent will leave you feeling refreshed.

Body butter is one of those items that I love to have on standby for those little pamper sessions, as they tend to feel a little more luxurious than the standard body lotions I use day to day. This smells absolutely beautiful- very delicate and subtle, but lovely. I also love the texture of this, almost like a whipped mousse texture that sinks into the skin really well.

The third item- and third new brand for me- was The Good Zest Company Sweet Orange Body Wash (RRP £12.95). Start and finish your day with the invigorating experience of organic orange oils and aloe vera combined into a premium organic body wash. Expertly blended sweet orange essential oils, aloe vera and organic ingredients provide a power packed natural wash that cleanses, hydrates and protects.

I am in a minority here- I don't like orange. However, I am willing to overlook this when it comes to a good beauty product like this one. It lathers up beautifully and definitely has a hit that will wake you up in the morning, or revive you in the evening after a long day. My skin felt squeaky clean afterwards. I will be checking out some of the other scents in their range.

Finally, an old favourite of mine- Bloomtown Red and Berried Lip Balm (RRP £6.00). Naturally tinted lip balm flavoured with natural berry extracts and made with the finest quality organic cocoa butter, candelilla wax, sweet almond oil, castor oil and vitamin e.

I love lip balm, I have one in every room, handbag, pocket and even in the car! I will never be disappointed to see another one though, especially when it is an old favourite. I love Bloomtown products and I love this lip balm- not only does it smell amazing, but it gives your lips a lovely, subtle hit of colour and keeps them soft and kissable all day!

So another amazing mix of products to get you feeling fruity! The total value of the items this month is a staggering £49! Such an incredible saving!

There are a few different ways you can purchase or subscribe to this box:

  • Monthly rolling subscription- £24.95

  • 3 month prepay- £71.10

  • 6 month prepay- £138.00

  • One off box- £25.95

  • Bimonthly- £24.95 every 2 months

  • Plastic free quarterly- £24.95 every quarter

They also do 'Lucky Dip' boxes on their website which contain 3 products from past boxes so you can get a taster for the service- this is priced at £12.95. For a limited time (at least, initially!), there are also Pick n Mix boxes available where you can choose either 3 items for £15 or 4 items for £20 from a selection menu. All of the above options include delivery.

I have said this so many times but I will say it again- this box is my absolute favourite and it never lets me down. It is not often that you can subscribe to a box for 4 years and not have a single 'dud' box or a repeat item but Emma, who is the woman behind this box, always manages to blow me away every month with new brand discoveries and some new products from old faithful brands I already know and love. I'm already excited for next months offering! Emma is also a lovely lady who puts so much heart and soul into every box- you can really feel the passion when you unbox it and it is testament to her passion that she absolutely smashes it every month! This box certainly deserves all the success and I cannot wait to see what delights await me in the May edit- hopefully some fresh treats for spring/summer!
