The Natural Beauty Box June 2023- Green and Gold Edit.

Yes, it's that time again! Every time The Natural Beauty Box lands on my doorstep, it feels like Christmas! For those of you who are unfamiliar (where have you been?!), the Natural Beauty Box are a monthly subscription service featuring only natural, cruelty free products that are often also vegan and organic. I have been getting this box for 5 years now and in that time, I have not once been disappointed.

As is the standard now, I unboxed this on my YouTube channel, which you can catch here:

The theme for June was 'Green and Gold'. I think this is the first time in a while where I hadn't seen a single spoiler and so I was very excited to get my hands on this box- as always!

The first item was a new brand for me, Ametrine Skin Green and Gold Balm (RRP £12). A super concentrated multipurpose balm. It melts on your skin, turning from a buttery balm to a rich decadent deeply nourishing oil. Use as a cleansing balm to leave the skin soft and super clean or as a moisturiser adding a protective hydrating layer to the skin.

I love a good multipurpose product, and a skin balm too, This smells beautiful and is a lovely size for travelling too- which I think is what I will use mine for!

Another new brand for me up next, and an item that has never been included in this box before (to my knowledge)- Weed and Wonderful Pure Seaweed Capsules (RRP £12.95). Natural, vegan and gluten free seaweed capsules, a natural source of Iodine with a wealth of benefits for your skin and health.

I have never taken seaweed capsules before but I am definitely open to it. Whilst I don't take supplements as a standard, I am always happy to give things a go. These sound like they have a multitude of benefits!

Next up, yet another new brand for me- Fiori Beauty Ginger and Lime Hand cream (RRP £9.95). A decadently rich, fast absorbing hand cream with organic Shea Butter to instantly soothe, hydrate and nourish the hands leaving your skin feeling wonderful. With zesty lime and spicy ginger for a refreshing and energising boost.

Hand cream is a staple for me, I use it every day, sometimes multiple times, so it is always great to try new ones. This one smells incredible and sinks in to the skin without that greasy after feel. A new favourite!

A brand I am more than familiar with now, not that I am complaining! Ayumi Naturals Turmeric and Papaya Body Scrub (RRP £6.99) With Olive Seed Powder to exfoliate, Glycerin to moisturise and superfood Turmeric with it's amazing skin benefits to leave your skin rejuvenated.

Body scrubs are something I like to use once a week when I have a proper pamper session, so I am very much looking forward to putting this to the test. It is a huge size and so will last me for a while, and is very reasonably priced for repurchasing too.

Lastly, the second product from Ayumi Bio Active Repair Hair Oil (RRP £3.99). 100?% natural hair oil to promote growth, reduce frizz and tame fly aways, as well as adding nourishment and shine.

I used this in the evening and left it overnight, washing it off the next morning with my normal haircare routine. I definitely noticed a reduction in frizz and my hair felt more lightweight too. I love hair products and this is no exception. It smells amazing too.

So another amazing mix of products! The total value of the items this month is a staggering £46! Such an incredible saving!

There are a few different ways you can purchase or subscribe to this box:

  • Monthly rolling subscription- £24.95

  • 3 month prepay- £71.10

  • 6 month prepay- £138.00

  • One off box- £25.95

  • Bimonthly- £24.95 every 2 months

  • Plastic free quarterly- £24.95 every quarter

They also do 'Lucky Dip' boxes on their website which contain 3 products from past boxes so you can get a taster for the service- this is priced at £12.95. For a limited time (at least, initially!), there are also Pick n Mix boxes available where you can choose either 3 items for £15 or 4 items for £20 from a selection menu. All of the above options include delivery.

I have said this so many times but I will say it again- this box is my absolute favourite and it never lets me down. It is not often that you can subscribe to a box for 4 years and not have a single 'dud' box or a repeat item but Emma, who is the woman behind this box, always manages to blow me away every month with new brand discoveries and some new products from old faithful brands I already know and love. I'm already excited for next months offering! Emma is also a lovely lady who puts so much heart and soul into every box- you can really feel the passion when you unbox it and it is testament to her passion that she absolutely smashes it every month! This box certainly deserves all the success and I cannot wait to see what delights await me in the July edit- hopefully some fresh treats for spring/summer!
