The Natural Beauty Box March 2022 review- The Mother Earth Edit
Yes, it's that time again- and a brand new year! Every time The Natural Beauty Box lands on my doorstep, it feels like Christmas, even though the festive period is now behind us once again! For those of you who are unfamiliar (where have you been?!), the Natural Beauty Box are a monthly subscription service featuring only natural, cruelty free products that are often also vegan and organic. I have been getting this box for 3 years now and in that time, I have not once been disappointed.
As is the standard now, I unboxed this on my YouTube channel, which you can catch here:
I saw a couple of spoilers for the items inside, which just added to the excitement. The theme for March was 'Mother Earth', 4 products inspired by nature! A mixture of brands I know and brands I don't, I can't wait to tell you about it!
First up, and a new brand for me, was Purity London Conditioning Cleansing Lotion (RRP £9.99). An effective skin conditioning cleanser with a blend of clever ingredients which effectively break down and gently remove the day's grime and make-up. Special ingredients combined with the softening, moisture retaining and conditioning Sweet Almond Oil, Aloe Vera and Glycerine base: Oats condition and restore, Amino Acids help skin to absorb moisture, Avocado Oil conditions the skin, and Euphrasia and Rose Water tones the skin. This gently cleanses, conditions and tones the skin. I love the packaging of this, as well as the gentle yet effective formula. Cleansers are an everyday essential for me and I am always excited to discover new ones. This one definitely leaves my skin squeaky clean and removed my makeup effortlessly!
Next up- and yet another new brand for me- was Gaia Skincare Crystal Purity Mask (RRP £38!). An award winning intensive purifying mask with Pomegranate and Hibiscus. Combining the energy and healing properties of rose quartz crystal with the purest natural ingredients. Full of antioxidants preventing damage and reducing breakdown of collagen. High in Vitamin C, Pomegranate regulates sebum production, encouraging skin cell regeneration leaving your skin feeling refreshed, firm and smooth. Just look how luxury this looks- and I love that it comes with it's own little wooden spoon to ensure you get exactly the right amount. I am yet to try this, as I have a face mask open that I want to finish before I try another one but it sounds like it will be perfect for my skin and I cannot wait to try it!
A brand I know and love now, Urban Veda Reviving Body Lotion (RRP £12.99). Omega-rich Rosehip, organic Pomegranate and Evening Primrose combine with collagen-boosting Arjuna, Borage and Jasmine to preserve and improve hydration. With Rose Damask oil and flower water to replenish and revive soulless skin, our Reviving Body Lotion is enhanced with Rose Geranium, traditionally used to reduce cellulite through massage, and vitamin E, vital for skin repair. Skin is left nourished and pampered. I love Urban Veda and their beautiful formulas- I have tried many of their products now and have yet to find one that I haven't loved! Body lotion is another essential for me so I know that this will get used. It smells absolutely gorgeous and feels so light on the skin (no sticky after feel!), whilst providing deep moisturisation to the skin. Another winner!
Finally, and yet ANOTHER new brand for me, was Nereus London Hydrating Organic Conditioner (RRP £20). This award winning conditioner, from a brand featured on Dragons Den, is a unique blend of hair-enhancing natural extracts (Goji Berry, Sea Kelp, Jojoba Seed Oil and Coffee Arabica), botanicals & organic essential oils that help to hydrate, protect and maintain your hairs natural health whilst adding a beautiful shine, preventing dry and damaged hair and taming frizz and flyaways. It is also great for all hair types including thinning & fine hair, curly, natural Afro, coloured, dry or damaged hair. Look at the packaging of this too- everything in the box this month just looks so luxurious! This smells absolutely beautiful and I have been so impressed with how soft and manageable my hair has been since I started using it. That is no mean feat, as my hair is notoriously fussy! Looking forward to seeing how it continues to work over the coming weeks!
So another amazing mix of products to bring some nature into your life this spring! The total value of the items this month is £80.98, over 3x the cost of the box!
There are a few different ways you can purchase or subscribe to this box:

They also do 'Lucky Dip' boxes on their website which contain 3 products from past boxes so you can get a taster for the service- this is priced at £12.95. For a limited time (at least, initially!), there are also Pick n Mix boxes available where you can choose either 3 items for £15 or 4 items for £20 from a selection menu. All of the above options include delivery.
I have said this so many times but I will say it again- this box is my absolute favourite and it never lets me down. It is not often that you can subscribe to a box for almost 4 years and not have a single 'dud' box or a repeat item but Emma, who is the woman behind this box, always manages to blow me away every month with new brand discoveries and some new products from old faithful brands I already know and love. I'm already excited for next months offering! Emma is also a lovely lady who puts so much heart and soul into every box- you can really feel the passion when you unbox it and it is testament to her passion that she absolutely smashes it every month! This box certainly deserves all the success and I cannot wait to see what delights await me in the April edit!
