The Natural Beauty Box March 2023- The Indulgence Edit.

Yes, it's that time again! Every time The Natural Beauty Box lands on my doorstep, it feels like Christmas! For those of you who are unfamiliar (where have you been?!), the Natural Beauty Box are a monthly subscription service featuring only natural, cruelty free products that are often also vegan and organic. I have been getting this box for 5 years now and in that time, I have not once been disappointed.

As is the standard now, I unboxed this on my YouTube channel, which you can catch here:

The theme for March was 'Indulgence'. I had seen a couple of spoilers and was very excited to get my hands on this box- as always!

The first item was from a brand I have tried a couple of times and am keen to get to know more- Odylique Mini Prebiotic Rich Hydration Cream (RRP £10). This is one of their new products and is an intensely moisturising, calming and smoothing 100% natural face cream with the first scientifically proven prebiotic, extracted from chicory roots. It protects the skin by re-balancing it's microbiota, helps the skin form a natural defensive shield against the environment, reduces sensitivity, reduces inflammation and reduces irritation.

I have not yet tried this as the mini size is just perfect for travelling, so I will be saving this for my next trip, however it sounds amazing and just what my skin needs.

Next up is a brand I have also tried a few times before, and have been really impressed with the luxurious feel- No Secrets Beauty One Hand and Body Butter (RRP £39). This is a smooth and silky hand and body butter packed with some real skin heroes. The perfect way to nourish, moisturise and fragrance the skin. It contains a rich blend of butters and plant oils that are brimming with antioxidants, vitamins and restorative goodness. Massage it into the body to moisturise, soften, smooth and restore the skin for utter skin indulgence.

I just have to point out that this smells absolutely unbelievable, the blend of essential oils of bergamot, juniper, petitgrain, eucalyptus and lavender really combine to make something special. This also sinks into the skin without feeling greasy, sticky or heavy- perfect for the spring/summer months!

Next up, another brand I have tried before but haven't seen for a while- I am happy to be reacquainted! Lady Green Gentle Face and Neck Scrub (RRP £15). A blend of cellulose particles and jojoba beads gently remove dead skin cells and unclog the pores. Aloe Vera and Neem provide a pore refining cleanse whilst Kiwi and Apple extracts refine the complexion and ensure renewed radiance. Finished off with a fresh, spa like scent.

I can definitely attest to the spa like scent, it really does smell so fresh- the apple and kiwi see to that! This feels really gentle on the skin, but left it feeling squeaky clean and looking much brighter and radiant- a winner I would say!

Finally, a new brand for me- there is always at least one new brand, which after 5 years, still amazes me! Hallby Bath Soak Salts (RRP £4) are handmade herbal salts that will leave you feeling renewed and relaxed alongside a wide range of other wonderful benefits to nourish your body from head to toe.

I don't have a bath in my flat, just a shower, however I love using these products as a hand and foot soak. I also sometimes sneak them over to my mums house to borrow her bath and try them out- shh! These sound so indulgent, so I will be taking these over the next time I go- all in the name of science, right?

So another amazing mix of products to help you feel soothed! The total value of the items this month is a staggering £68! Such an incredible saving!

There are a few different ways you can purchase or subscribe to this box:

  • Monthly rolling subscription- £24.95

  • 3 month prepay- £71.10

  • 6 month prepay- £138.00

  • One off box- £25.95

  • Bimonthly- £24.95 every 2 months

  • Plastic free quarterly- £24.95 every quarter

They also do 'Lucky Dip' boxes on their website which contain 3 products from past boxes so you can get a taster for the service- this is priced at £12.95. For a limited time (at least, initially!), there are also Pick n Mix boxes available where you can choose either 3 items for £15 or 4 items for £20 from a selection menu. All of the above options include delivery.

I have said this so many times but I will say it again- this box is my absolute favourite and it never lets me down. It is not often that you can subscribe to a box for 4 years and not have a single 'dud' box or a repeat item but Emma, who is the woman behind this box, always manages to blow me away every month with new brand discoveries and some new products from old faithful brands I already know and love. I'm already excited for next months offering! Emma is also a lovely lady who puts so much heart and soul into every box- you can really feel the passion when you unbox it and it is testament to her passion that she absolutely smashes it every month! This box certainly deserves all the success and I cannot wait to see what delights await me in the April edit- hopefully some fresh, zingy treats!
