The Natural Beauty Box November 2021 review- The Sweet Dreams Edit.

Yes, it's that time again- where is this year going? Every time The Natural Beauty Box lands on my doorstep, it feels like Christmas! For those of you who are unfamiliar (where have you been?!), the Natural Beauty Box are a monthly subscription service featuring only natural, cruelty free products that are often also vegan and organic. I have been getting this box for 3 years now and in that time, I have not once been disappointed.

As is the standard now, I unboxed this on my YouTube channel, which you can catch here:

I think this is the first time in a while where I have seen spoilers for all the items inside! I'm not complaining though, it just added to the excitement! The theme for November was 'Sweet Dreams'! A mixture of brands I know and brands I don't, I can't wait to tell you about it!

The first item was from a brand who were featured a couple of months ago- Bloom and Blossom- but this time, it was their Pyjamarama Dry Body Oil (RRP £12). This is highly moisturising, easily applied has a soothing aroma and a gorgeous texture. It sinks in quickly to leave you feeling calm and content, ready for a restful sleep. The secret ingredient is Frankincense, known to help calm the mind, as well as Moringa Seed Oil and Evening Primrose Oil. You may be wondering what a dry oil actually is, so let me explain! A dry oil dries much more quickly on your skin, saving you precious seconds of sleep waiting for it to sink in! They also don't leave any residue behind, so you won't get any on your clothes/bedsheets/anywhere you touch!

I had been dying to try this brand for a while and the sleep spray that was in this box a couple of months ago is now a staple in my evening routine so I was excited to try out another item from their collection! This oil smells so beautiful and really calmed my mind. I started a new job last week (within the same company, but on another contract) and so my mind was frazzled with information to take in but this oil really helped to just soothe my mind and help me to relax when I really needed it. I also love how it made my skin feel- soft and smooth without the greasy afterfeel! I love it, just like I knew I would!

Next up is a new brand to me. Well, kind of! You may remember the body butter by Dalia Botanique a couple of months ago. This brand is owned by the same lady as Dalia, so I am familiar with them by association! The Chapiteau Sleep Oil (RRP £9) is a perfect blend of essential oils to help you sleep more deeply. You add a few drops to your bath, pillow, pyjamas or a diffuser to relax your body and mind and get a full nights sleep.

I have recently gotten in to essential oils, scented candles, wax melts- basically anything that smells nice- so I am always happy to try out new ones. This is a blend of Lavender, Roman Chamomile and Marjoram to help relax, ground and calm you. I really like the smell of this, I used it in my diffuser as I was getting ready for bed (a ritual in itself!) and the throw from the oil is amazing, even just a couple of drops was more than enough. I definitely felt relaxed too!

Another new brand for me was Melitta Natural Skincare Combination Face Oil (RRP £9.50). This has won a Silver award at the Global Green Beauty Awards! It is suitable for all skin types but has been made with oily skin in mind to rebalance sebum production using a non pore clogging mix of essential oils (Jojoba, Rosehip and Argan) as well as a soothing Grapefruit and Rose Geranium scent.

I loved the cute size of this- the full size retails for £25 but this is a lovely trial/travel size to give it a good go! I love facial oils and even though this is only little, as you tend to only need a couple of drops, it will still last a while. I haven't got round to giving this a go yet as I am finishing up another oil but I am looking forward to my first introduction to the brand!

A brand I am no stranger to now- Urban Veda Radiance Night Cream (RRP £19.99). This is enriched with anti-inflammatory Turmeric to improve skin tone, Liquorice to support elasticity and restore suppleness, Arjuna to reduce the appearance of fine lines and Patchouli to reduce scarring and heal dry skin.

I love Urban Veda, their products are always such great quality and I have never used a product by them that I didn't like. This is no different, it sinks into my skin and leaves it feeling replenished and restored without clogging my pores. I absolutely love it, and am currently eyeing up the matching day cream as a Christmas gift from me to me!

Another brand I know and love up next- Dr Paw Paw Overnight Lip Treatment (RRP £8.95) which melts into the lips, fully absorbing for an intense treatment. It contains natural peptides to plump and smooth the lips and any fine lines.

Dr Paw Paw is my go to for any kind of dryness or skin irritation but I had no idea about this lip treatment! I am so excited to discover it as my lips get super dry and chapped this time of year! I am planning on using this once a week for a pampering treat after work!

Finally, another new brand discovery! This time it is The Magic Lab Deeper Sleep Bath Bomb (RRP £3.50). This is made from high grade Magnesium to soothe aching muscles and nerves to help your body relax and promote a comfortable and restful sleep. Scented with natural Lavender to help calm the mind and relax you from head to toe.

This is definitely a different concept- a crushed bath bomb! I don't have a bath in the flat that I currently rent, so I like to save this sort of thing to take over to my mums and use in her bath! I always leave her some behind to try out herself too, and this will be no different! I can't wait to give this a go over the festive season, I have a feeling I will need it!

So another amazing mix of products to bring some relaxation and sweet dreams into your life this season! The total value of the items this month is £62.94, over double the cost of the box!

There are a few different ways you can purchase or subscribe to this box:

  • Monthly rolling subscription- £24.95

  • 3 month prepay- £71.10

  • 6 month prepay- £138.00

  • One off box- £25.95

  • Bimonthly- £24.95 every 2 months

  • Plastic free quarterly- £24.95 every quarter

They also do 'Lucky Dip' boxes on their website which contain 3 products from past boxes so you can get a taster for the service- this is priced at £10. All of the above options include delivery.

I have said this so many times but I will say it again- this box is my absolute favourite and it never lets me down. It is not often that you can subscribe to a box for 3 years and not have a single 'dud' box or a repeat item but Emma, who is the woman behind this box, always manages to blow me away every month with new brand discoveries and some new products from old faithful brands I already know and love. I'm already excited for next months offering! Emma is also a lovely lady who puts so much heart and soul into every box- you can really feel the passion when you unbox it and it is testament to her passion that she absolutely smashes it every month! This box certainly deserves all the success and I cannot wait to see what delights await me in the December/Christmas edit!
