Yes, it's that time again! Every time The Natural Beauty Box lands on my doorstep, it feels like Christmas! For those of you who are unfamiliar (where have you been?!), the Natural Beauty Box are a monthly subscription service featuring only natural, cruelty free products that are often also vegan and organic. I have been getting this box for 4 years now and in that time, I have not once been disappointed.

The theme for November was 'And Relax'. I had seen a couple of spoilers and was very excited to get my hands on this box- as always!
Up first is a new brand discovery for me- this doesn't happen often so it is always so nice when it does! It comes in the form of the Gherane Skincare Hydrating Serum (RRP £45!), which is a fast acting skin drink for dull, dehydrated and stressed out skin to give it a burst of extra hydration. It is calming and protective, containing rich nourishing oils without the greasiness. It gives the skin a sophisticated, softer and smoother feel. It can also be used as a makeup primer too.
I love a good serum and had actually just run out when this arrived- it's like they knew! This is definitely luxurious and I did try this as a makeup primer too. Whilst I didn't notice it making my makeup last any longer than other primers, it certainly felt more nourishing to the skin and my skin felt hydrated for hours. During the winter months, my skin can really suffer so it is great to know I have this as my secret weapon!
Next up is a brand I am no stranger to- but I am always happy to see them! The Natural Beauty Pot Rose Bath Salts (RRP £4) are created with mineral rich Epsom salts, Rose and Jojoba oils and botanicals. They have a gorgeous floral scent for a relaxing atmosphere and, importantly for me, can be used as a foot soak if you don't have a bathtub!
I am always a little disappointed when I get bath products- not because I don't like them, but because the flat that I currently live in only has a shower and so I cannot make use of them (although I have been known to sneak them to my mums to use there!). However, these can be used as a foot soak and so I can use them here- Yay! I will be doing this over the Christmas period to give myself a pamper!
Third was another new brand discovery for me- two in one box, I am being spoiled! The Run With The Wolves Black Moon Soy Candle (RRP £8.00) is a grounding scent with woodland tones to bring positivity, calm and relaxation. Earthy Sandalwood and Black Pepper wrap around you to bring warmth and inner peace, warming the deepest parts of your soul. Black moon will draw you closer to mother nature allowing you to set intentions or affirmations every time you light the flame. It enables you to be grounded and clear especially during a full or new moon.
I absolutely adore candles, there is something so cosy about lighting a candle and curling up in the evening! This smells absolutely stunning, Sandalwood is one of my favourite scents and the hint of black pepper makes this such a warming fragrance that is perfect for the time of year.
Next up, another familiar brand that I am always happy to see- The Konjac Sponge Company Konjac and Loofah Sponge with Bamboo Charcoal (£14.99). This is a premium natural cleansing and exfoliating sponge that leaves the skin feeling invigorated. It helps to prevent dry skin patches and ingrown hairs. It may look scary but when wet, it is silky soft so exfoliates the skin without causing damage or irritation.
I have a few of these lovely sponges now and they are just so handy to have around. I actually think I am going to save this though and take it with me when I go to Costa Rica, as the project I will be working on encourage you to bring sustainable and natural toiletries that won't harm the wonderful ecosystem they have there. I know this will be so useful!
Lastly, and a little edible treat, was a protein bar by the company Free Soul in their Chocolate Banoffee flavour (RRP £7.45 for 3 bars). The most delicious plant-based protein bars on the planet. Triple layered, coated with real dark chocolate, with a gooey core. Over 15g of protein, only 0.3g of sugar, and just 150 calories per bar.
I workout a lot and so protein bars are an essential for me to help me replenish my energy and help my muscles recover. I haven't yet tried this but I love that it was included, who doesn't love a tasty treat?

They also do 'Lucky Dip' boxes on their website which contain 3 products from past boxes so you can get a taster for the service- this is priced at £12.95. For a limited time (at least, initially!), there are also Pick n Mix boxes available where you can choose either 3 items for £15 or 4 items for £20 from a selection menu. I have said this so many times but I will say it again- this box is my absolute favourite and it never lets me down. It is not often that you can subscribe to a box for 4 years and not have a single 'dud' box or a repeat item but Emma, who is the woman behind this box, always manages to blow me away every month with new brand discoveries and some new products from old faithful brands I already know and love. I'm already excited for next months offering! Emma is also a lovely lady who puts so much heart and soul into every box- you can really feel the passion when you unbox it and it is testament to her passion that she absolutely smashes it every month! This box certainly deserves all the success and I cannot wait to see what delights await me in the December edit- hopefully some products to get us in the mood for the festive season!
