The Natural Beauty Box November 2023 review- The Blissaroma Edit.

Yes, it's that time again! Every time The Natural Beauty Box lands on my doorstep, it feels like Christmas! For those of you who are unfamiliar (where have you been?!), the Natural Beauty Box are a monthly subscription service featuring only natural, cruelty free products that are often also vegan and organic. I have been getting this box for 5 years now and in that time, I have not once been disappointed.

As is the standard now, I unboxed this on my YouTube channel, which you can catch here:

The theme for November was 'Blissaroma' and I managed to avoid any spoilers, so I was in for a real surprise!

First up is a new brand for me in the form of Arthur Betsy Restore Bath Salts (RRP £14.45). With Epsom salts, Dead Sea salts, Himalayan salts, dried flowers and essential oils, these bath salts nourish your skin from head to toe, ease muscle aches and relaxes you. The aroma calms the mind, body and soul.

As I have mentioned before, I only have a shower in my flat so bath salts are something I can only use when I go to a hotel or stay at someone's home- however I do use bath salts as a foot soak on occasion so these will be perfect. They do smell incredibly relaxing and I can see these being popular on a chilly winter evening!

Another new brand for me, Ancient Wisdom, and there are 2 products from them- so a great introduction! The first is the Anti Anxiety Shower Steamer (RRP £2). Place this at the bottom of your shower and allow to fizz so the natural aroma is released and helps you to feel a sense of calm and relaxation.

Now a shower steamer, I can use! I am a big fan of these, having used a few different ones over the years however this one is huge! It definitely has a calming aroma and whilst I am not expecting to be a miracle cure for my anxiety (if only!), I have high hopes that it will help me relax and destress!

The second item by Ancient Wisdom is the Relaxing Essential Oils Blend (RRP £4). A blend of Lavender and Mandarin to relax the mind and body. Lavender relieves stress while Mandarin nourishes the nervous system and helps reduce feelings of exhaustion. Add a few drops to a bath or use oil burners to diffuse the oil throughout the room.

I do love essential oils- or any home fragrance item for that matter- so I am always happy to add another to my collection. Whilst Lavender and Mandarin are not particularly favourites of mine, together they are a powerhouse and I actually like this far more than I expected to.

The final 2 products are also from the same brand, Paul Yacomine, and one we have seen before so I am happy to be introduced again! The first is the Naturally Fragrant Body Oil (RRP £26). A pure, luxurious blend of oils to nourish and soften the skin, with a light silky texture and a naturally soothing tropical floral aroma.

I do love a body oil, especially at this time of year where I tend to look for richer formulas to counteract the havoc that the cold weather plays on my skin. This smells absolutely gorgeous and has gone straight to the top of my list to try next!

Finally, also from Paul Yacomine is the Naturally Fragrant Pre Moisturising Toner (RRP £22). With Aloe Vera and Orange Floral Water, this toner is full of Vitamin C and antioxidants for a radiant, youthful complexion. It smells amazing and leaves your skin feeling refreshed and hydrated.

I am currently working through a toner so this won't be used for a while, but I love the sound of it and they are correct that is smells amazing, it really does! I am always happy to have a stockpile of items like this, they are a daily essential for me so they are gratefully received!

So another amazing mix of products! The total value of the items this month is a staggering £68.45! Such an incredible saving!

There are a few different ways you can purchase or subscribe to this box:

  • 3 month prepay- £71.10

  • 6 month prepay- £138.00

  • One off box- £25.95

  • Bimonthly- £24.95 every 2 months

  • Plastic free quarterly- £24.95 every quarter

They also do 'Lucky Dip' boxes on their website which contain 3 products from past boxes so you can get a taster for the service- this is priced at £12.95. For a limited time (at least, initially!), there are also Pick n Mix boxes available where you can choose either 3 items for £15 or 4 items for £20 from a selection menu. All of the above options include delivery.

I have said this so many times but I will say it again- this box is my absolute favourite and it never lets me down. It is not often that you can subscribe to a box for 5 years and not have a single 'dud' box or a repeat item but Emma, who is the woman behind this box, always manages to blow me away every month with new brand discoveries and some new products from old faithful brands I already know and love. I'm already excited for next months offering! Emma is also a lovely lady who puts so much heart and soul into every box- you can really feel the passion when you unbox it and it is testament to her passion that she absolutely smashes it every month! This box certainly deserves all the success and I cannot wait to see what delights await me in the December edit- hopefully some treats for the festive season!
