The Natural Beauty Box September 2022 review- The Autumn Allure edit.
Yes, it's that time again! Every time The Natural Beauty Box lands on my doorstep, it feels like Christmas! For those of you who are unfamiliar (where have you been?!), the Natural Beauty Box are a monthly subscription service featuring only natural, cruelty free products that are often also vegan and organic. I have been getting this box for 4 years now and in that time, I have not once been disappointed.
As is the standard now, I unboxed this on my YouTube channel, which you can catch here:
The theme for September was Autumn Allure, 4 products to take us into the new season. I had seen a couple of spoilers and was very excited to get my hands on this box- as always!
First up was a brand I am no stranger to, but am always happy to see again- Bao Skincare Reviving Body Wash (RRP £21). An uplifting blend of mandarin, grapefruit and may chang to awaken your mind and make you smell amazing. You can use this as a shower gel but also as a bath soak too. This gentle, lightly foaming body wash offers an uplifting boost of zesty mandarin and may change, perfect to either get you out of bed or refresh you after a hard long day. It's formula is also SLS free, so doesn't dry out your skin. I absolutely love this, it is a huge bottle so should last me a while and the smell is just so refreshing and reviving too! It lathers up really well and the scent lingers on the skin long after you leave your bathroom!
Next is another brand I have grown very fond of over the years- Upcircle Beauty Floral Blend Face Scrub (RRP £15). This is a multiaward winning product for sensitive skin, made from repurposed coffee grounds, soothing anti inflammatory chamomile and skin loving rosehip, blended with Vitamin E, jojoba and coconut oils to gently buff away dead skin whilst nourishing, softening and moisturising the skin underneath. I love that this product is made from repurposed coffee grounds- less waste! I may not be a fan of drinking coffee but I sure do love a coffee scrub and Upcircle are the best of the best. This smells really delicate and left my skin feeling amazing.
The third item is an absolute essential- and a brand I was introduced to very recently in this box too! Eloise Hall Optimism Handcream (RRP £15). This mood enhancing and skin softening hand cream has a gorgeous blend of essential oils including sweet orange, palmarosa, bergamot, ylang ylang, mandarin, grapefruit and geranium. Bringing joy with each application whilst taking care of the skin on your hands, it keeps the skin soft, hydrated and protected. I love a hand cream, especially as we move towards the colder months as my skin really suffers. I am still working my way through the other hand cream by them (the bottles are huge so they last ages!) but this is lined up next! I did take a sneaky sniff and it is just as gorgeous as the Pause version I am currently using!
Finally- and a new brand for me!- Vanilla and Wild Autumn Face Oil (RRP £12). With natural clove and vanilla to calm, protect and brighten dull skin whilst bringing the natural scents of Autumn to your home. It has a blend of nourishing argan, avocado, meadowfoam and grapeseed oils to protect, nourish, calm and balance the skin during the colder months. I do love a facial oil and even though I have loads still yet to use (oops!) I had to try this one! I was not disappointed at all- it is absolutely beautiful in scent and in formula. My skin really struggles in the colder months so I can see that this will be a lifeline!
So another amazing mix of products to bring some radiance into your life this spring! The total value of the items this month is £63!

I have said this so many times but I will say it again- this box is my absolute favourite and it never lets me down. It is not often that you can subscribe to a box for 4 years and not have a single 'dud' box or a repeat item but Emma, who is the woman behind this box, always manages to blow me away every month with new brand discoveries and some new products from old faithful brands I already know and love. I'm already excited for next months offering! Emma is also a lovely lady who puts so much heart and soul into every box- you can really feel the passion when you unbox it and it is testament to her passion that she absolutely smashes it every month! This box certainly deserves all the success and I cannot wait to see what delights await me in the October edit- hopefully some products to take us into a new season!
